About Me

My photo
Mumbai, India
I'm a landrace dog fancier, birder and amateur arachnologist. I'm also a wildlife conservationist working in the tiger reserves of central India with Satpuda Foundation. Founder of the INDog Project (www.indog.co.in) and the INDog Club. I worked with urban free-ranging dogs of Mumbai for 14 years.

This blog is for aboriginal breed enthusiasts. It is part of the INDog Project www.indog.co.in. Only INDogs (Indian Pariah) and INDog-mix mongrels are featured here. The two are NOT the same, do please read the text on the right to understand the difference. Our aim: to create awareness about the primitive natural breed called the Indian Pariah Dog/INDog. I sometimes feature other landrace breeds too.

Sticks

You never know when a stick might come in handy, so why not collect a few on one's travels. Here are some cute pictures of Deepa picking up twigs and sticks around her home in Doerflingen, Switzerland. Busy girl.

More photos of beautiful Deepa here.

Rajashree I have been wondering do you have an organization yourself? With all the lovely dogs and pups? I mean I am just wondering you do know a lot of canines :)

Only this informal group, the Indian Pariah Dog Club. That's more of an awareness programme than an organization really. I used to work with a dog welfare NGO till about 3 years ago. Now I volunteer for a tiger conservation NGO.
